ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਯੂਰਪੀਅਨ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਕੌਮੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਪਾਰ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ ਲਈ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਭਾਰਤ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ New Zealand ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਵਪਾਰ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ ਲਈ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।Piyush Goyal ਨੇ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਸੰਗਠਨ FICCI ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘‘ਅਸੀਂ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਨਾਲ ਵਪਾਰ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ ਲਈ ‘ਸਰਗਰਮ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ’ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।” ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੌਰੀਸ਼ਸ Mauritius, UAE ਅਤੇ Australia ਨਾਲ ਵਪਾਰ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ।
