City of Brampton launches new recreation app to make program registration easier and more accessible

Credit: City of BramptonAbout Brampton Recreation’s new mobile appDeveloped in partnership with Xplor, the app is designed to improve accessibility, engagement and convenience for users of all ages. Through the app, residents will be able to:Browse, register and pay for programs anytime, anywhere.Use AI Smart Search technology to quickly find programs and services that match individual interests.Integrated account and membership management to track personal and family schedules, registrations and memberships.Make seamless and secure credit card payments.In-app notifications to provide reminders and updates on waitlists, programs and ​services. In July, the City invited residents to serve as App Ambassadors to test the new platform. Their feedback was used to refine features and enhance usability, helping ensure the app meets the needs of the community. The City thanks all participants for their valuable input. The new Brampton Recreation app adds another easy way for residents to register for the thousands of programs the City offers each year.
