_DC Ferozepur Hands Over Rehabilitation of Eleven Flood-Affected Villages to United Sikhs

United Sikhs_■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■Ludhiana/September 20 ( ) – Mr. Amritpal Singh, Director of United Sikhs, Punjab, informed the press that in the wake of floods in various districts of Punjab, particularly in Ferozepur district, the organization has taken sincere efforts to aid flood victims and provide them with essentials like food, drinking water, clothing, medicines, and fodder for animals on a priority basis. Recognizing these valuable relief efforts, Deputy Commissioner of Ferozepur, Ms. Deep Shikha Sharma, has handed over the rehabilitation work of eleven flood-impacted villages to United Sikhs through a written letter.Mr. Amritpal Singh stated that as per letter No. DMCR/T/FZR 2025, SPL-B issued by the Deputy Commissioner’s office, United Sikhs has been entrusted with the overall responsibility of rehabilitation and providing basic health facilities to the inhabitants of eleven villages. United Sikhs’ volunteers have accepted this responsibility wholeheartedly and have begun comprehensive arrangements to further strengthen the ongoing relief work in these villages.He mentioned that the flood-affected villages include Dhera Ghara, Basti Ram Lal, Nawan Pind Jamsher, Basti Laddo Wala, Basti Bhaiyan Wali, Kamal Wala, Ale Wala, Kaloo Wala, Tedi Wala, Nizam Wala, and Usman Wala in Ferozepur district’s border areas. Handing over the rehabilitation of these villages to United Sikhs is a significant step, becoming a major source of hope for the displaced flood victims.During the interaction, he said United Sikhs, with community support, will work on major projects in these villages including restoring livelihoods, clearing agricultural land, providing diesel, seeds, fertilizers, and medicines, constructing new homes, supplying new uniforms, books, and copies to school children, distributing warm clothes, blankets, medicines, and relief material.[
